Knitted Slip Stitch Mosaic Bag
Create your own little (6" deep X 12" around) project bag using the "slip stitch mosaic" technique. Slip Stitch Mosaics are a way of creating a colorful designs very simply, can I get a Hallelujah?, you only work with one strand and color of yarn for each row or round so there is no carrying of the contrast color yarn (cc), dangling bobbins, general confusion, wailing, etc. The way it works is this: every time you slip a stitch from the previous row, that stitches’ color will appear in the present row.
You will need:
Yarn: Six 1 oz/62 yard mini hanks of Southern Bales Organic Cotton Yarn in 6 colors. The bag pictured used: A-Eggplant, B-Golden Brown, C-Gray, D-Moss Green, E-Dark Green, F-Blue

Needles: Size #4 / 16” circular and double pointed needles (for bag base)
Gauge: 5.5 stitches per in stockinette stitch
Know How: intermediate, curious, determined. We have quick videos on the linen stitch (bag top).
